Tim and Pat have continued the tradition of custom clock building and clock repair after their father passed away in 2001.  "Henz Family Clock Shop" also known as "The Clock Shop" or "Old Tymers" has maintained the same principles and integrity that Peter Henz Sr. started over 50 years ago.  "We strive to keep the quality service and craftsmanship that Grandpa started."

In 1969, Peter Henz Jr opened "The Clock Shop" and repaired clocks in Arlington and Ft Worth.  He was an authorized repairman for Ridgeway, Sligh and Howard Miller Clocks.  he also did clock service for Montgomery Ward and Gabberts Furniture Co.

Two of his four sons, Tim & Pat, traveled with their father on several clock service calls as young boys.  They spent untold hours assisting their father and grandfather in the shop as they built and repaired clocks.  "Dad would give me a movement and tell me to take it apart and put it back together again" Pat recalled.  "It was always a challenge but when it started ticking again, it felt great."
